The Security Manager conducts site risk assessments, coordinates responses to security incidents, supports investigations, oversees local security services, and promotes the consistent application of Gallagher security standards. The position must balance enterprise requirements with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and the operational needs of individual offices and business units.

  • Document vulnerabilities, recommend risk-based corrective actions, and monitor remediation through completion.
  • Support security planning for new offices, relocations, consolidations, expansions, acquisitions, and office closures.
  • Partner with Physical Security, Real Estate, Technology, local leadership, property management, and vendors regarding access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, duress alarms, and related systems.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing review of Gallagher minimum physical security standards.
  • Evaluate local operating conditions and recommend security measures appropriate to the location, business operation, workforce, and identified risk.
  • Maintain accurate site-security profiles, contact records, assessment results, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist office leaders with security-related landlord and property-management issues.
Risk, Threat, Intelligence, and Incident Management
  • Coordinate or support responses to workplace violence concerns, threats, suspicious activity, theft, physical security incidents, employee safety matters, protests, civil unrest, natural hazards, and other disruptive events.
  • Serve as an in-region escalation point in coordination with the Global Security Response Center and the Senior Regional Security Manager, Americas.
