Job summary

Cornerstone Residential's Edgewood Center seeks a Security Manager to coordinate daily front desk operations and support the Property Manager, especially during emergencies. The role is a full-time, hourly position with shift Mon-Fri 2 pm–10 pm, offering a $20–$25 hourly range.

You will supervise front desk staff, monitor safety systems, and uphold building policies to maintain a safe, secure environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience

• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to enforce policies professionally and consistently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and security monitoring systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Securing the Building: ensure entry/exit procedures compliance and patrol for safety and policy adherence.
• Safety Systems: monitor fire alarm, elevator, video coverage; direct emergencies as needed.
• Front Desk Staffing: schedule/supervise front desk, log communications, prepare timesheets.
• Front Desk Procedures: train staff, maintain procedures, logs, confidentiality and professionalism.
