Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is seeking a Security Associate to support security and loss prevention within the Distribution Center. You will assist managers, protect assets, monitor shortages, and help coordinate investigations to safeguard people and property.

The role requires a HS diploma with at least 1 year of experience, and you must be able to work in a fast-paced DC environment with attention to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of loss prevention and security best practices.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loss prevention and shortage control programs.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Protect warehouse and assets against theft, vandalism, fire, and unauthorized entry.
• Monitor product shortages and assist with investigations of internal theft.
• Oversee third-party security services and contracts.
• Perform shrink audits and help improve shrink results.
• Coordinate investigations with internal or external agencies as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.
