Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Baton Rouge is seeking a Security Associate to support loss prevention and security at the Distribution Center. The role involves protecting assets, monitoring for shortages, and supporting safety for all employees and visitors.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience. You will investigate incidents, coordinate with security partners, and may be asked to work overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience.
• Must pass a drug test if offered employment.
• Overtime may be required during peak periods (Oct–Dec).

Responsibilities

• Loss prevention and shortage control programs; identify and address forms of loss.
• Maintain safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and sales staff.
• Provide security for warehouse, offices, and assets against theft, vandalism, fire, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor product shortages and assist with shortage tracking.
• Investigate reports of internal theft, violence, or potential criminal acts by associates.
• Oversee and assist third‑party security services.
• Conduct shrink‑control audits and drive improvements in shrink results.
