Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Full-Time Loss Prevention Officer in Wisconsin. You will identify and apprehend shoplifters via floor patrol and CCTV, write detailed incident reports, and interact with local law enforcement as needed.

Courtroom testimony may be required in certain cases. Candidates should pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, and be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate reports.
• Interact with local law enforcement as needed.
• Provide courtroom testimony as required.

Job Description

• Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
• Report Writing
• Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
• Provide Courtroom Testimony as required

Job Requirement

• Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
