Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Bellevue, NE is seeking a full-time Loss Prevention Officer to deter theft and protect assets. You will patrol, report, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, pass background checks and drug screening, and be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English. Prior LP or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
• Report Writing
• Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
• Provide Courtroom Testimony as required

Job Requirement:

• Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
