Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) to lead E2E SLP services across assigned business units. This role reports to the SLP Cluster Manager and involves managing investigations, applying data-driven security practices, and coordinating with leadership.

The position requires 2+ years in security or related fields, strong Excel/data skills, and readiness to travel up to 50%. It covers 24/7 operations with various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis with data.
• Monitor systems and reports for security opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and report theft, fraud, incidents.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with leadership and vendors on security needs and incident planning.
• Travel up to 50% domestically; lift up to 49 pounds; work all shifts including nights.
