Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits seeks an Outbound Supervisor to oversee order fulfillment and distribution center operations in Baton Rouge. You will supervise staff, coach performance, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of product orders to retail customers.

Responsibilities include directing loading and checking of orders, training team members, monitoring productivity metrics, and supporting recruitment and scheduling for evening operations while maintaining OSHA-compliant standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience or equivalent education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the filling, loading, and checking of product orders for retail customers.
• Train new team associates and ensure understanding of policies and service guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment of orders to retail customers.
• Coach, direct, and counsel team associates on performance.
• Define productivity expectations and monitor progress regularly.
• Conduct meetings with team associates.
• Identify opportunities for employee development and performance improvement.
• Participate in recruitment and hiring of team associates.
• Assist with evening scheduling for night warehouse operations.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Participate in online training courses each quarter.
• Achieve all operational performance metrics as required.
• Maintain safe working environment according to OSHA regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
