Job summary

Dutch Wonderland is seeking a Safety & Security Lead Supervisor to oversee the security team across park operations in Pennsylvania. The role involves guarding premises, enforcing rules, and guiding staff with a focus on guest safety and exceptional service.

The supervisor will backfill security roles as needed and ensure adherence to state labor regulations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, prefer a Criminal Justice degree, and possess 2+ years of security experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Criminal Justice degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• 2+ years security experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security team and related departments; backfill positions when needed.
• Lead by example and represent Dutch Wonderland's values.
• Mentor and coach assigned team members.
• Know essential duties of all security positions and fill in when needed.
• Participate in new-hire orientation and training for all staff.
• Ensure meal and break compliance per PA State law.
• Assist with scheduling and timekeeping.
• Secure premises by patrolling and inspecting buildings and access points.
• Enforce park rules and regulations; report irregularities.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls across park properties.
• Maintain vigilance against security risks and threats.
