Job summary

Catalyst Capital is seeking a Security Manager to own security across its brands. This hands-on leadership role combines setting strategy with doing real technical work. You will lead incident response, design security programs, and report to the Head of Technology.

You will build a team, enforce policies, prepare for SOC 2/ISO audits, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to protect customers and the company in a fully remote, globally distributed setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security with 2+ years leading a security function at 100+ staff
• Led live incident response, not only tabletop exercises
• Built or rebuilt security programs including policy, tooling, training
• Experience in crypto/fintech or high-fraud industries
• Deep knowledge of phishing, social engineering, impersonation defenses
• Hands-on with SIEM, endpoint protection, email security, identity and device management
• Ability to write scripts and automation
• Writes clear security policy and drives compliance
• Briefs executives in plain language and trains non-technical staff
• Comfortable leading a fully remote team across time zones

Responsibilities

• Own security strategy and roadmap across brands
• Lead end-to-end incident response and run postmortems
• Build and manage Security Engineer team as company scales
• Write and enforce security policies; prepare for audits such as SOC 2
• Defend against phishing and impersonation; run brand protection efforts
• Set platform security standards and collaborate with engineering teams
• Define AI/automation security controls and review high-risk use-cases
• Oversee security tooling and vendor management
• Provide security content to educate members with Community, Support, and Marketing
