Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead Enterprise Security personnel across the assigned geographic area, directing investigations into internal and external security issues.

You will plan, organize, and conduct complex investigations, coordinate with Legal, People Solutions, and law enforcement, and oversee security operations to maintain a safe workplace. This role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of relevant security experience.
• Proven interviewing and interrogation skills for independent investigations.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent decision-making, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; leadership ability.
• Security clearance eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct investigations into internal and external security issues.
• Lead and allocate assignments/resources for the security team.
• Liaise with law enforcement, legal, and People Solutions teams; prepare reports.
• Oversee security operations to maintain a secure working environment.
• Provide security training to employees, contractors and temporary staff.
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations using physical security measures.
• Manage Enterprise Security Operations Center for CEI business units in the region.
