Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking an Installation Manager to oversee field installation staff, ensuring projects meet schedules, specifications and cost estimates while upholding company policy. You will lead project management, system installation and commissioning teams, coordinate with multiple departments, and drive safety and quality on site.

Requires 5–7 years in engineering or project management, a valid driver's license, and strong planning, communication and leadership

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of Engineering or Project Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving experience and clean record.
• State licensing or ability to obtain it in position.
• Experience with security software systems such as Software House, Lenel, Open Options, AMAG, S2, Bravo, Milestone, Exact, ONSSI.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to job-sites; overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and organized; strong planning and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project management, installation and commissioning staff; provide leadership and accountability.
• Hiring, recruiting, retention and training needs for operations installation staff.
• Builds and maintains an effective operations organization focused on customer and employee satisfaction.
• Sets goals and development plans for direct reports; discusses salary with General Manager.
• Supervise field staff and respond to escalated issues.
• Communicate directives to field staff and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate with departments on installation projects.
• Oversee Sales-to-Ops and Install-to-Service turnovers.
• Develop manpower schedules to ensure contract and project compliance.
• Oversee installation delivery and COSC/COFS completion.
• Manage projects to prevent slippage; site visits for QC and conformance.
• Follow up on customer satisfaction and drive resolutions.
• Engage resources to resolve issues outside project scope.
• Promote securing of change orders.
• Provide onsite support for newer staff.
• Prepare project folders for close-out; work with MPC process.
• Serve as safety champion; keep OSHA logs up-to-date.
