Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, direct and control project planning and performance for electronic security installations. The role covers scheduling, field installation, commissioning QC/QA and budget management.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, 6+ years in PM, PMP preferred, and experience with PM tools and contract law. On-site leadership, strong communication, and collaboration across vendors and customers are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least six years of project management experience in electronic security industry preferred.
• Proven track record managing 4M+ USD projects to schedule and budget.
• PM techniques and contract knowledge; PMP from PMI preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-complexity tasks across technical and business environments.
• Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active, thoughtful communication with vendors and customers to balance time and profits.
• Allocate and maximize resources through project planning to achieve PM objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive practices across markets.
• Manage change orders including estimation and submission.
• Support invoicing and collections, ensuring contracts and invoicing are met on time.
• Manage project budget and project P&L responsibilities.
• Prepare installation plans, set goals, manage the plan, and implement procedures.
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with other trades.
• Maintain records of job status, changes, and material flow.
• Define problems and use finance/management tools to assure profitability.
• Plan and schedule engineering, installation and subcontracting activities.
• Supervise installation labor and subcontractors.
• Prioritize team workload to deliver quality on time within budget.
• Troubleshoot project issues and engage management to mitigate impacts.
• Develop fallback and contingency plans.
