Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, direct and control project planning and performance for electronic security installations. The role covers scheduling, field installation, commissioning QC/QA and budget management.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, 6+ years in PM, PMP preferred, and experience with PM tools and contract law. On-site leadership, strong communication, and collaboration across vendors and customers are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least six years of project management experience in electronic security industry preferred.
• Proven track record managing 4M+ USD projects to schedule and budget.
• PM techniques and contract knowledge; PMP from PMI preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-complexity tasks across technical and business environments.
• Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain active, thoughtful communication with vendors and customers to balance time and profits.
• Allocate and maximize resources through project planning to achieve PM objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive practices across markets.
• Manage change orders including estimation and submission.
• Support invoicing and collections, ensuring contracts and invoicing are met on time.
• Manage project budget and project P&L responsibilities.
• Prepare installation plans, set goals, manage the plan, and implement procedures.
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with other trades.
• Maintain records of job status, changes, and material flow.
• Define problems and use finance/management tools to assure profitability.
• Plan and schedule engineering, installation and subcontracting activities.
• Supervise installation labor and subcontractors.
• Prioritize team workload to deliver quality on time within budget.
• Troubleshoot project issues and engage management to mitigate impacts.
• Develop fallback and contingency plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and manage projects to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and timely execution within budget
• Monitor and control project budgets, including full P&L responsibility, collection efforts and accurate invoicing through ERP systems
• Supervise installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality work on large and complex systems
• Maintain timely and strategic communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams to align efforts with business goals
• Implement change orders and adapt installation and pricing plans as needed
• Plan and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systems
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve project issues using financial, contractual, and operational tools to maintain profitability, engaging leadership as needed
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinates scheduling with other trades, while developing contingency plans and proactively managing risks to ensure project success
• Ensure accurate records of job status, job changes and material flow throughout the project
• Conduct site walks and attend onsite customer meeting

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)
• Minimum of three (3) years of project management, engineering, construction, electronic security or field service experience
• Experience managing multiple projects (portfolio) of at least $1M
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)
• Leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, as well as manage delivery timeframes
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and meet deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field
• Solid knowledge of PM techniques and tools, general knowledge of contract laws and regulations
• Project Management experience in the electronic security industry field
• Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms is a plus (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.).
• Knowledge of project management software (e.g., PM Workbench, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam) and ERP systems
• PMP, CSPM, CAPM or equivalent project management certification

BENEFITS:

• Pay: Base salary + 20% bonus potential (4% quarterly and 4% annually) + company vehicle + gas card
