Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Casper, WY is seeking a Security Install Technician to install, test, and commission intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems on commercial sites. You will read blueprints, install components, verify system functionality, troubleshoot installation issues, and complete documentation on time while following safety procedures and codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in fire and life safety industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with commercial security systems preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications in security or access control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission security systems per project specs.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine layouts.
• Install devices, panels, wiring, and hardware per specs.
• Test functionality and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide timely documentation and maintain safety standards.
