Job summary

You will read blueprints, install components, verify performance, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, while documenting work orders and coordinating with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience installing, testing, and commissioning security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, and CCTV.
• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (if driving role).
• Manufacturer certifications in security or access control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of intrusion alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and related low-voltage security systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals.
• Install system components including devices, panels, wiring, and associated hardware per project specs.
• Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with codes and customer requirements.
• Travel to job sites and communicate progress to customers and team members.
