Strada Services is seeking a Security Technician to install CCTV, access control, audio/video equipment and related cabling at client sites. The role involves hands-on field work in a fast-paced environment and requires strong communication and teamwork.

You will participate in testing, basic programming, preventive maintenance, and repairs per client agreements. An on-call rotation and daily status updates are part of the job.

Formación

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the Alarm Industry.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Update team lead daily on status and materials needed.
• Perform additional security technician tasks as assigned.

Job Summary

The Security Technician is responsible for tasks associated with Installation of Multiple Strada Security System types.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Installs CCTV, Access Control, Audio Video Equipment and intrusion hardware cabling and other forms of cabling as technology continues to evolve.
• Assist in testing of installed equipment and provide basic programming, such, cameras and alarm points to any system.
• Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty.
• Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems and/or equipment.
• Position requires technician to participate in an on-call rotation schedule. Technician would be available to answer client calls after normal working hours and on weekend/holidays depending on the rotation order.
• Responsible for updating team lead on the status of all work performed daily.
• Notify team lead daily of any materials needed to complete duties.
• Perform additional Security Technician and related functions as assigned by the team lead and deemed within the general skill and ability level of a productive Security Technician in our industry.

Education And Experience

• High school degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• 5 plus years’ experience in the Alarm Industry.
• Bilingual a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 15- 85 lbs. at times.
• Must be able to climb ladders and move into and through small crawl spaces.
