Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Security & Communications Installation Foreman in Denver, CO to lead field installation projects across commercial and industrial environments. You will oversee technicians, coordinate field activities, troubleshoot systems, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with codes and customer requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in low-voltage or security systems, foreman experience, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in low-voltage, security, fire/life safety, or voice & data infrastructure.
• Foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of: Access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance, Security systems, Voice & data/low-voltage systems.
• Supervise and coordinate field technicians and helpers.
• Read and interpret: Blueprints, Schematics, Submittals, Technical drawings/specifications.
• Oversee installation, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate schedules, materials, and field productivity to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, and other trades on active job sites.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper care of tools/equipment.

This individual will oversee technician crews, coordinate field activities, troubleshoot systems, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and customer requirements.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, and construction environments
