Job summary

Jobot is actively seeking a Security & Communications Installation Foreman to lead field projects in access control, CCTV, security, and low‑voltage systems across commercial and industrial sites in Denver, CO. You will oversee crews, coordinate activities, and ensure safety and compliance on every job.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in related systems, reads blueprints confidently, drives project delivery, and mentors junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in low-voltage, security, or fire/life safety systems.
• Experience with voice & data infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of access control, CCTV, security and data systems.
• Supervise field technicians and helpers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and submittals.
• Oversee startup, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Ensure codes, standards and manufacturer requirements are met.
• Coordinate schedules, materials and field productivity.
• Communicate with customers, contractors and project managers.
• Document and report on job progress; mentor junior staff.
• Maintain safe work practices and tool care.

Job Details

A nationally recognized life safety and systems integration company is seeking a Security & Communications Installation Foreman to lead field installation projects involving access control, CCTV, security, and low-voltage communication systems across commercial and industrial environments.

This individual will oversee technician crews, coordinate field activities, troubleshoot systems, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation of: Access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance, Security systems, Voice & data/low-voltage systems
• Supervise and coordinate field technicians and helpers
• Read and interpret: Blueprints, Schematics, Submittals, Technical drawings/specifications
• Oversee installation, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and system commissioning
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements
• Coordinate schedules, materials, and field productivity to meet project deadlines
• Communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, and other trades on active job sites
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices
• Maintain safe work practices and proper care of tools/equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 4+ years of experience in: Low-voltage systems, Security systems, Fire/life safety, and/or Voice & data infrastructure
• Foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
• NICET II certification preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and technical diagnostic skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, and construction environments
