South Florida State College in Avon Park, FL, seeks a part-time, unarmed security worker to help maintain a safe campus environment. Typical schedule: Monday–Friday 12:30 pm–6:00 pm, with flexibility for events.
Responsibilities include building checks and locking doors, turning off lights, inspecting fire prevention equipment, patrolling areas, preparing shift reports, and assisting with college events while adhering to policies and laws.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Educational:High school diploma preferred; must be able to read and write effectively and be knowledgeable in fire prevention and safety practices.
Experiential:Experience in security work is preferred.
Other:Flexibility to work various shifts is strongly preferred. Must be willing to submit to a polygraph examination. Must hold a current State of Florida Security Officer license (Class D or higher) or be willing to attend training and secure licensure within the first ninety (90) days of employment.
