Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Physical Security Hardware Specialist to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security system infrastructure across multiple facilities. The role requires hands-on installation/maintenance, collaboration with security staff, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, pass background checks for DoD facilities, and travel up to 35%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, or other security systems.
• Knowledge of security hardware and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install security technology solutions (access control, CCTV) and related platforms.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure maintenance on installed systems is performed and tracked.
• Assist in determining needs for new installations and redesigns.
• Fabricate, repair, and assemble hardware for security operations.
• Collaborate with staff to develop procedures for security technology use.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Process work orders and support tickets.
• Coordinate vendor scheduling for large facilities security system infra.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Develop ways to streamline processes and increase reliability.
• Work with Lenel/Avigilon admins to manage access control and CCTV.
