Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Physical Security Hardware Specialist to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security system infrastructure across facilities.

The role collaborates with security staff and stakeholders while supporting installation, service, and training for system users. Required are 5+ years with security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection); high school diploma; experience with Lenel, Avigilon, and Microsoft Visio; plus ability to lift and work in varied

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, or other comparable systems.

Responsibilities

• Install security technology solutions (access control, CCTV, and other platforms).
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure maintenance on installed systems and hardware is performed and tracked.
• Assist in job walks and determining needs for new installations and redesigns.
• Fabricate, repair, and assemble hardware/equipment for security operations.
• Collaborate with staff to develop proper procedures for security technology use.
• Manage inventory and ensure components are serviceable.
• Obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications.
