Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Physical Security Hardware Specialist to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security system infrastructure in multiple facilities. You will install access control and CCTV, support procedures, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security across environments.

The role requires 5+ years in security systems, strong tool usage, and certifications. Travel up to 35% may be required in a high-reliability setting such as aerospace and defense.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years of experience with security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Install security technology solutions (access control, CCTV, and related platforms)
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and hardware
• Maintain documentation of job status and revisions
• Assist in job walks and determine needs for new installations
• Collaborate with staff to develop procedures for security technology usage
• Monitor inventory and acquire parts for repair or replacement
• Support vendor scheduling and subcontracting for large projects
• Process work orders and tickets across facilities and IT
