SpaceX is seeking a Physical Security Hardware Specialist to assemble, install, troubleshoot, and maintain security system infrastructure across multiple facilities. You will support access control, CCTV, and related hardware, while collaborating with teams to optimize procedures and ensure reliable security operations.

The role requires hands‑on experience with security hardware, tools, and software, plus ability to travel and work in high‑reliability environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, or other security systems.
• 3+ years using power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling.
• Knowledge of Lenel Access Control software, Avigilon Digital Camera software, and Microsoft VISIO is preferred.
• Experience in space/aviation or high reliability environments.

Responsibilities

• Install security technology solutions including access control and CCTV.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and hardware.
• Maintain and track system maintenance.
• Assist in determining needs for new installations and redesigns.
• Fabricate and assemble hardware for security operations.
• Collaborate with staff to develop procedures for security technology use.
