Allied Universal in Largo, FL is seeking a Security Guard with Active DoD Secret Clearance for an unarmed patrol role at an aerospace/defense site.

As a Part Time officer, you will conduct routine patrols, deter security incidents, deliver excellent customer service, and document activity with clear incident reports. Schedule: Fri-Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Pay: $22.58/hour.

Requirements include an active DoD Secret Clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background screening.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain activity logs while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
