Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• Background investigation as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws, licensing, Allied Universal policies, and post orders.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team culture built on agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
