Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Prince George, VA. You will monitor facilities, provide customer service, and support access control while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of entrances, exteriors, parking, docks, and perimeters.
• Monitor and document activity of visitors, employees, contractors, and vehicles.
• Report hazards and maintenance needs to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility entrances, production-area exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor, employee, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report observed hazards, unusual conditions, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
