Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Operations in Prince George, VA. This part-time role emphasizes a visible security presence, access control, and patient customer service at a food production and distribution site.

You will patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents calmly, document activities, and collaborate with site leadership to deter security-related issues. A HS diploma and security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility entrances, production-area exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor, employee, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report observed hazards, unusual conditions, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
