Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Allied Universal is seeking a candidate to perform patrol of a retail parking lot and foot patrol of the inside of a retail environment.

Candidate must pass a motor vehicle record and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall interior, exterior, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
