Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Response in Houston, TX. You will protect clients across commercial real estate and related facilities, maintain a visible security presence, and provide excellent customer service.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $15.00 per hour. You will perform day and night shifts, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and promptly report security concerns to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property and surrounding areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions or violations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
