Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) to protect clients across retail and other facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, greet visitors, and respond to incidents.

Minimum requirements include 18+ years old, high school diploma, and eligibility for background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for driving roles where applicable.

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.69 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to retail and distribution location personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, warehouse access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and vendor entry procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-related documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established site procedures. Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
