Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer in Saint Cloud, MN. You will protect clients at a financial institution, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service.

This full-time role features a $21.00 per hour pay rate, a regular schedule, and opportunities for training, advancement, and benefits. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, age 18+, background check, and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas; report suspicious conditions per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Maintain daily activity and incident reports and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter; report unusual conditions and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific policies; assist with access control processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
