Job summary

• Perform regular unarmed foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate contacts.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
