Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Louisville, KY. You will provide customer service and enforce site policies while patrolling aerospace/defense locations and maintaining a secure environment.

Schedule is Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM and Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Two years of security experience and HS diploma are required, with background check and drug screen per policy.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and execute site security procedures and policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following protocols.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter activity.
• Monitor access-control points and verify authorized entry at site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate incidents to leadership.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access-control points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and visitor activity.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
