Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA. This full-time role combines customer service with vigilant security duties at a logistics/distribution site, patrolling premises by vehicle and on foot, and controlling access as needed.

You will deliver professional service, respond calmly to incidents, and document observations. A valid driver’s license and background check are required; guard card preferred. Benefits provided.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site procedures, and directing visitors and drivers as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems.
