Qualifications

• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and surrounding perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific requirements, documenting relevant security‑related observations and incidents.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate security‑related information to appropriate personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
