Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background check required by law; will be conducted.

• Licensing requirements may apply; subject to state/local laws.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Fresno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture at Allied Universal.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun: 09:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-yard concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailers, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and drivers according to site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
