Qualifications

• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and communicate observations to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity across facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site procedures; report unusual or prohibited activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports in line with company and site requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of educational facilities, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, and staff activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual or prohibited activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
