• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office spaces and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and direct guests per protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift handoffs per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations and assist employees, visitors, and guests. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with directing guests in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate contacts as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
