Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Operations in Bethesda, MD. You will patrol mall areas, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service while upholding the company's values.

The role requires 6 months of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and guiding visitors during events.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Operations in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and directing visitors during routine operations, special events, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
