Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a diligent security guard to patrol a community, ensuring safety for residents, visitors, and staff. You will monitor doors, windows, and gates, escort residents, and respond to alarms while maintaining a calm, professional presence on site.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, assisting during emergencies, and supporting maintenance and safety operations. The role requires independence and the ability to follow simple instructions, with licensing pursued within 90

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Must apply for security license within 90 days of employment if required by city, county or state and meet the qualifications for such license.
• Ability to work independently and follow simple oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the community on foot and by vehicle to maintain a safe environment.
• Survey for safety hazards, fires, and suspicious conditions.
• Ensure security of doors, windows, and gates with routine checks.
• Provide escort to buildings and parking lots and assist residents entering apartments.
• Respond to alarms and incidents with concise reporting.
• Assist residents with minor repairs when maintenance is unavailable.
• Monitor and report on maintenance issues, outages, and safety concerns.
• Assist Fire Department and staff during fire/disasters.
• Investigate theft and property damage reports.
• Participate in snow removal and general security duties.
• Write concise, factual incident reports per shift.
• Operate paging/telephone systems as needed.
