Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas.
• Inspect packages and belongings as authorized, documenting findings.
• Monitor access points and maintain controlled entry and exit throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents calmly and conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter.

As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and/or items, conducting routine patrols, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Inspect packages, shipments, and personal belongings as authorized, documenting findings and reporting prohibited or suspicious items.
• Monitor access points and help maintain controlled entry and exit throughout the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
