Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Michigan is seeking a Security Guard to protect residents, team members and property through patrols, cameras, access control, and life-safety systems. You will respond to emergencies promptly while maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months), plus prior security-related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior security, law enforcement, emergency services, or related field experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through patrols and monitoring.
• Operate and monitor security cameras, access control and life-safety systems.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms and security incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter misconduct and promote a secure environment.
