Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard to protect residents, staff, visitors, and property. The role includes proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe community.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant security or related field experience, a valid driver's license, and current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain them within three months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or a related field preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols and monitoring.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter misconduct and promote a safe environment.
• Operate life-safety systems including security cameras and access control.
