Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard - Residential Control Room in New York to serve residents, visitors, and government personnel.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and report security-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and/or government personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of observations, incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns for Allied Universal and site management.]

As a Security Guard - Residential Control Room, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication.
