Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Residential Community) in Delray Beach, FL. You will provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and clients, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a healthcare-related residential community.

Two years of security experience are required, a valid driver’s license is needed for driving roles, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law and policy.
• Guard card is required for some positions; CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner and notify relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and pedestrian activity per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and communicate to leadership and site representatives.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare-related residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
