Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Verification Specialist in Boca Raton, FL. The role focuses on protecting residents and guests through visible patrols, access control, and incident response.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by enforcing security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of residential areas, entrances, parking and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and site management.

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed conditions, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of corrections, law enforcement, military experience and/or degree in criminal justice.
• Possess an armed guard card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
