Allied Universal in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Security Officer armed part-time patrol driver to provide reliable coverage at an assigned site. The role offers flexible hours, with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform.

As a Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol Driver in Delray Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor activity, incidents, and observations accurately.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, training, and applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined corrections, law enforcement, military, and/or 7 years of security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
