Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Ability to use a computer and associated software.
• Ability to cover facility and conduct security rounds; respond to alarms on short notice.
• Ability to lift packages weighing 10 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must be prepared to work different shifts and overtime hours on short notice.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with guard procedures, posts, and facility layout.
• Monitor intrusion detection, video surveillance, and access control systems.
• Escort personnel and manage sign-in logs.
• Patrol building interiors and exteriors.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; coordinate with authorities.
• Protect sensitive materials during checks.
• Wear proper security attire and maintain professional appearance.
• Assist with unloading/loading and moving furniture within the facility.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Security Manager.
• Perform receptionist duties with visitor control system.
