Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Ability to use a computer and associated software.
• Ability to cover facility and conduct security rounds; respond to alarms or emergencies.
• Ability to lift packages up to 10 pounds.
• Proficient English communication, both spoken and written.
• Willing to work different shifts and overtime on short notice.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow Guard Force Procedures, posts, and facility layout; adapt to security upgrades.
• Familiarize with security officer procedures and building utilities.
• Perform rotating shifts; escort personnel and manage badges; log sign-ins.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas; check for hazards and violations; document events.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations; notify Security Manager and authorities as needed.
• Protect sensitive materials during security checks; maintain proper control.
• Wear security attire and maintain a professional appearance on duty.
• Assist with unloading/loading of supplies and relocation of bulky items.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Security Manager; may include duties outside normal scope.
• Perform Receptionist duties using a visitor control system.
