Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking a 3rd shift Security Guard for a manufacturing facility. Shift is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with on-the-job training and opportunities for long-term growth.

The role involves monitoring cameras, adhering to post orders, reporting, and interacting professionally with the public. A background check, drug screen, and eligibility for a guard license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Pass a background and drug screening.
• Ability to obtain a Guard License.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions.
• Follow written/verbal directives.
• Stand or walk constantly for multiple hours on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt).
• Monitor security cameras.
• Public relations and awareness and dealing tactfully with the public.
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property.
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives.
• Obtain and in detail statements, write reports, interview and observe and document information in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to cope with stressful work situations
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Guard License
